It became the impetus for the formation of a health insurance system. It is done with the help of taxes that go to the state treasury. This approach became especially efficient when health insurance came to the country in the 1940s. It has been called the Medical Services Plan. People could receive it three months after they arrived in the province.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Vancouver residents had to deposit a certain amount into their insurance accounts every month if their annual incomes exceeded $26,000.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Insurance_coverage\"><\/span>Insurance coverage<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The subsequent development of health insurance in Vancouver was focused on covering services provided by doctors and obstetricians. It was also extended to a number of dental and surgical operations as well as procedures related to the oral cavity.
