Studies in a new country
After graduating from school, Elena became a student at the Lviv Medical University. However, when she was in her 3rd year, her family moved to Canada. Therefore, she had to continue her studies in Vancouver.

Dr. Pavliouk bought an already operating clinic from another doctor who was looking for a successor. It is a common thing in Canada when a retiring doctor transfers his business and patients to a younger and more competent specialist.
The doctor, whose business Elena acquired, practiced for 27 years and had a large client base. Therefore, he was looking for a good candidate.
