The Art of Smile keeps that step under its own roof. It runs a fully equipped in-house laboratory with its own laboratory supervisor on staff, where crowns, bridges, implant restorations, bite splints, retainers and orthodontic appliances are made on site. Shade is matched chairside, against the patient’s own teeth rather than a photograph on a technician’s bench.

Treatments

Exams and cleanings, preventive dentistry, sealants, fillings, root canals, oral cancer screenings, children’s dentistry and same-day emergency appointments. Restorative and cosmetic work runs to crowns, bridges, inlays and onlays, bonding, whitening, veneers and smile makeovers. Surgical dentistry covers implants and implant restorations, extractions and wisdom teeth. Invisalign straightens; night guards protect against grinding.

Technology

Cone beam computed tomography gives the three-dimensional view of teeth, jaw and surrounding anatomy that implant and orthodontic planning needs. An iTero scanner replaces the tray of impression material with a digital scan, and CEREC mills a crown within the appointment. Those scans feed straight into the laboratory next door, so contour and shade are corrected during the same visit.

The dentist and the team

Dr. Eiman Keshvarynia, owner and general dentist, has practised for more than twenty years and completed the DentalXP implant fellowship at NYU College of Dentistry; he names implants, oral surgery, periodontics and aesthetic dentistry as his own fields. Around him work registered dental hygienists, certified dental assistants and a laboratory supervisor — patients name the hygienists as readily as the dentist. The practice has served downtown Vancouver for over thirty years, and the office is wheelchair accessible.
