1. Kingsgate Dental · ⭐ 10.0
(2038 reviews)
370 E Broadway Unit 112, Vancouver, BC V5T 4G5, Canada
Most clinics topping Vancouver's lists sit in glass towers by the water. Kingsgate Dental works from the lower level of Kingsgate Mall in Mount Pleasant, and it shows in who comes through the door: children, parents and seniors from the surrounding blocks, booked patients and walk-ins alike. It is owned and run by Dr. Tam Do and Dr. Largani with associates, several of whom have…
«The best dental clinic in Vancouver! I have genuinely had the best experience here. The…»
2. Royal Centre Dental Group Vancouver · ⭐ 9.9
(1273 reviews)
1055 W Georgia St #210, Vancouver, BC V6E 3P1, Canada
Most general offices hand the hard third of dentistry to somebody else — the gum surgery, the implant, the awkward root canal. Royal Centre Dental Group runs the other way. Dr. Ken Phillips, who founded it in 1990, trained under an oral surgeon and performs most of his own surgical extractions; his partner built his practice around endodontics; and a Certified Specialist in…
«It is always a pleasure to visit Royal Centre Dental. The reception team is always…»
3. City Square Dental Center Vancouver · ⭐ 9.7
(1169 reviews)
555 W 12th Ave #5, Vancouver, BC V5Z 3X7, Canada
Most clinics hand the hard surgical cases to somebody else. Here one of the four owner-dentists is Dr. Ali Sadeghi, a certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon who heads dentistry and oral and maxillofacial surgery at Lions Gate Hospital and teaches as an assistant clinical professor at UBC: facial fractures, orthognathic jaw surgery, bone grafting and jaw-joint disorders are…
«I am not sure how long I have been going to City Square Dental Center, but I cannot…»
4. Atlantis Dental Yaletown · ⭐ 9.9
(1068 reviews)
1278 Pacific Blvd, Vancouver, BC V6Z 2V1, Canada
Ask most Vancouver clinics whether anyone speaks your language and you get a shrug at the desk. Atlantis Dental Yaletown publishes the list and asks which one you want when you make the appointment: English, Cantonese, Farsi, German, Gujarati, Hindi, Mandarin, Punjabi, Spanish, Tagalog, Turkish or Vietnamese. In a downtown where much of the population arrived from elsewhere,…
«I had a truly wonderful experience at Atlantis Dental in Yaletown. Dr. Farid Habibian…»
5. Downtown Dental · ⭐ 9.9
(1036 reviews)
1328 Alberni St, Vancouver, BC V6E 4N9, Canada
Morning headaches, a clicking jaw, teeth worn flat by night-time clenching, a partner kept awake by snoring — Downtown Dental has spent three decades on the bite behind those complaints. It was the first practice in Vancouver to fit the small NTI device for clench-driven migraine, and its owner has aimed every year of continuing education since 2002 at occlusion,…
«I have been coming to this dental clinic for quite a while now, and my most recent…»
6. Coastal City Dunsmuir Dental Centre · ⭐ 9.9
(903 reviews)
885 Dunsmuir St #290, Vancouver, BC V6C 1N5, Canada
Dr. Tony Bae took a civil engineering degree at Queen's and rowed for its varsity crew before qualifying in dentistry at UBC. He owns and practises at this downtown office, running since 1987, holds a Clinical Assistant Professor post at UBC's Faculty of Dentistry, mentors students in the Downtown Eastside, Abbotsford Food Bank and Douglas College community clinics, and has sat…
«I cannot say enough good things about this dental clinic. From the moment I walked in, the…»
7. The Art of Smile Dental Clinic – Vancouver · ⭐ 9.7
(620 reviews)
1437 W Pender St, Vancouver, BC V6G 2S3, Canada
A crown or a veneer normally leaves the building: the impression goes out to a commercial laboratory, a temporary goes in, and the patient returns two weeks later. The Art of Smile keeps that step under its own roof. It runs a fully equipped in-house laboratory with its own laboratory supervisor on staff, where crowns, bridges, implant restorations, bite splints, retainers…
«I have been going to The Art of Smile Dental Clinic for three years now, and I am…»
8. O2 Dental – Vancouver · ⭐ 9.9
(609 reviews)
1358 W Georgia St, Vancouver, BC V6E 4S2, Canada
In most downtown offices braces and aligners are planned by the same dentist who does the fillings. O2 Dental splits the work in two. Every orthodontic case belongs to Dr. Mona Afrand, a certified Specialist in Orthodontics; general, surgical and implant dentistry stays with the owner, Dr. Siamak Khosro Tehrani. The clinic states the distinction on its own braces page:…
«First visit to O2 Dental in downtown Vancouver and I was very impressed. I went in for…»
9. Crosstown Dental Clinic · ⭐ 10.0
(581 reviews)
615 Main St, Vancouver, BC V6A 2V4, Canada
Crosstown Dental is one of the youngest practices in central Vancouver — Dr. Philip Chang opened it in 2016 — and one of the smallest: two general dentists to three registered hygienists. That ratio shows in what patients write: they name the hygienist before the dentist, and many begin by admitting how long it had been since their last appointment.
«Wow! This dental office is absolutely amazing. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted…»
10. Stanley Park Dental Centre · ⭐ 9.7
(566 reviews)
1030 Denman St #123, Vancouver, BC V6G 2M6, Canada
Every general dentist here earned a first dental degree abroad, then qualified again in Canada. After Tabriz, Dr. Nima Salimipour worked with the World Health Organization in southern Iran, treating people who had no other route to a dentist, founded a clinic in the centre of the country on the same principle, ran a private practice in Tehran — and started over at UBC. The…
«I have always been nervous about going to the dentist. There are many reasons for that,…»
